Publishing articles from the 9th International Conference on Serpentine Ecology

The Proceedings of the 9th ICSE will be published as a Special Issue in Ecological Research
(official journal of the Ecological Society of Japan – IF = 1.283 in 2016 / https://link.springer.com/journal/11284).

We are seeking contributions of high-quality competitive manuscripts that will be subjected to external review. Manuscripts acceptable for the Special Issue can cover a variety of subjects relating to plant-soil relationships in ultramafic ecosystems from all around the world, including:

  • Ecology
  • Taxonomy
  • Soil science and agronomy
  • Biogeochemistry
  • Conservation – mine rehabilitation
  • Physiology
  • Evolution
  • Metal hyperaccumulation
  • Agromining and applications

 
Articles can be of 3 types and should not exceed 7000 words: research paper, review and short communication. Special attention is given in Ecological Research to articles dealing with Biodiversity in Asia. Submission of manuscripts is not limited to those presenting/participating in the ICSE Conference, and we welcome contributions from all around the world, provided they fit the scope as outlined earlier. So please advertise around the serpentine community!

Submission is made through Editorial Manager (Springer) (link from the webpage of Ecological Research). You need to scroll down the submission type menu and choose « S.I. Serpentine » (Special Issue on Serpentine).

Before submitting a manuscript, please email us the tentative title and author names to : Guillaume.Echevarria@univ-lorraine.fr

So that we can include you in the pre-submission system.
